Black Hills Bat Company is located in scenic Western South Dakota. Our company's philosophy and goal is to provide each player with a professional grade bat that enhances and develops your game. We also enjoy and take pride in carving specialty bats for historical and personal reasons.
We use only professional grade Northern White Ash and Rock Hard White Maple. Our wood is hand picked for the best quality with attention to color, straightness, grain alignment and moisture content. Our Select Grade Ash and Maple is kiln-dried between 10% - 12% moisture content prior to final doweling. There is no color mixing and has a straight grain throughout. This Select Grade material is the highest quality in the industry.
We believe that using a wood bat is the best developmental hitting tool for players of all ages. We are confident in being able to carve a bat that meets professional requirements while providing you with durability and consistency.
